The date that never happened

I am sure there are many genuine and cool guys out there, but this is not one of them..

Met this guy on Speeddate.com. I have been trying out a few different websites( that is content for another post) and I singed up for this one. Tool my profile down rather quickly after being pinged incessantly by strange characters. No real quality on this site. Very bad search functions that dont remember settings etc, so it kept sending me matches from Townsville etc..

So P.A and I chatted for a bit, kinda hit it off in cyberpsace, thought there was a decent amount of chemistry there, sight unseen of course. And the messages came in thick and fast, dear guy felt it necessary to ping me a message first thing in the morning and wanted to chat often. Oh how sweet and nice. Interesting, witty, intelligent etc etc...

Suggested we meet on Saturday.....

Added him on facebook...chatted on the phone....

POOFFFF..he disappears offline. Never contacts me again.

Now Im not Giselle Bundchen but maybe that is what he is expecting and maybe that when he jumped onto my facbook page he dsicvered shock horror that I am a realy person, with good and bad days. How would I know anyway, that is all I can assume and it is an assumption since I have nothing else to go on.

I could kinda get it if you were really spectacular, or even a little hot but hun, you are not Leonardo DeCaprio.. Really, honestly. Im not kidding.

The alternative is that he found me so wonderful and spectacular a human being that he felt I was truly out of his league and that he was truly woefully boring and would never be good enough for me.
